**FIRST ADDIS RUMBLE PHOTO CONTEST**
We are proud, excited and very happy to launch our first ADDIS RUMBLE PHOTO CONTEST for non-professional photographers. We have teamed up with the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, LimeTree Café in Bole, two local photographers, and good friends to create the contest, and we invite YOU to participate!
So, grab your camera phone or your digital camera and hit the streets of Ethiopia. We want you to go creative and show us how you interpret the theme MOVING. Think out of the box and capture an intriguing and moving moment: It can be moving minds or ideas. Moving from one place to another. Moving fast, moving slow – or not moving at all. It can be people, cars, minibuses, bicycles, or birds on the move. Or it can be a moving story.
30 photos will be selected for display at the official opening and winner-announcement @ LimeTree Café in Bole on May 26. The exhibition will be presented on Addis Rumble, and will be on display at the café through June.
The 10 best photos will be furthermore presented at Another Africa after the opening.
1st price: a digital pocket camera
2nd price: a photobook
PARTICIPANTS MUST BE BASED IN ETHIOPIA AND CAN SUBMIT ONLY 1 PHOTO PR. PARTICIPANT!
