The Return of Amadou & Mariam

It’s been 3 years but finally our favourite husband-and-wife duo is back. Amadou & Mariam’s new album is called Folila (meaning music in bambara) is is out this week. The list of guest musicians is longer than ever -  TV on the Radio, Santigold, Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, Bassekou Konayte and Toumani Diabete and no other than French singer-songwriter Bertrand Cantat (!) – just to mention a few.  Luckily, the fusion works.
